On the way to Kandy you can visit Pinnawala Elephant orphanage which is home to over 90 elephants, including several babies, and visitors can witness these majestic creatures up close as they are fed, bathed, and even bottle-fed. The highlight of the day is the elephant herd’s bathing time in the nearby river, which is a spectacular sight to behold.

Later in the afternoon you can do the Kandy city tour accompanied by our friendly guide or even visit Royal botanical gardens in Peradeniya followed by a cultural show.

Today you will be driven to the commercial capital city of the country. On the way you will be visiting the most sacred Temple in the island, the Temple of the Tooth early in the morning. On the way to Colombo you can visit the spice gardens at Mawanella and later in the evening when the sun is set weather is cooler you can do the Colombo city tour.
